Who is the handsome man driving that handsome car? It suits him, don't you think? For those of you who have not met him, let me introduce you to my brother Jon!
And for those of you who haven't seen it, this is his car. And all that high tech equipment on the back - that's his GPS equipment complete with sun shield for the screen!

And yes, that is Slim on the grass. He's a local! My daughter took this shot - she likes the dogs more than the cars!
OK. Look out! We are going to sneak in a little education on you! We took the kids here, to Todd and May Lincoln's farm just south of Charleston. Although Abe never lived there, this place has been preserved and is, in fact, a "living history."

What's that mean? There are all sorts of people and animals here, and they try to make it look like (and they act like) it was back in 1845. Sort of interesting. I guess some people like it.
Of course, my daughter was far more interested in the livestock! Here she is, interviewing a horse to see what it was like in 1845!
My son thinks horses are smelly. But he is real fond of cats, and this feline has obviously reciprocated. Maybe we'll all learn what it was like to be a cat in 1845!
Definitely a jarring transition. Sorry about that! Back on the road, or should I say on the road, we spot this thing, rising up out of the plains like I don't know what. Had to get a picture of it!

Somebody out here is serious about religion! Or maybe it's a different kind of field of dreams!
You didn't think we'd put that car to bed dirty, did you? Of course not! Hey - I'm a graduate of the Wilson Northrup School of Cross Country Driving, and I wouldn't think of going to bed without cleaning the car, first. Here I am, working with one seasoned veteran and one newbie, showing them the finer points of post-wash car polishing!

Of course, we tend to be more relaxed about non-sports cars! (For those of you who don't know it, these cars come with a reflective strip on the convertible top - it works well against a flash!)
