Guess where this is??? We woke up this morning in Hershey, the chocoholic capital of the world?? The lamposts are the best part - in fact lots of things here refer to Hershey products!
Hershey is a great little town! And the factory is the best part! You can smell the chocolate everywhere!!!
Hmm. anyone getting hungry? You can no longer tour the actual factory due to health concerns (there - doesn't that make you feel better, knowing that your chocolate is truly sterile?).
BUT - you can get a virtual tour here at Chocolate World. Hershey did for Chocolate what Ford did for cars - he took a specialty item of the rich and made it available for us poor schmucks trying to make a buck in the real world! Thank you Thank you!
As I was saying, you get a virtual tour! Don't you just love how many times I've been in the picture? Here, we asked the hostess to snap our pictures as we rode away.
This is the Hershey Hotel, sitting high up on the outskirts of town. What a magnificent place!
And this is the general lobby area. That ceiling is obviously painted. And, oh, by the way, when you make your reservations, be prepared to pay some serious bux to stay here! It's a "world class resort" (at least it's priced that way :-)
OK. Some of you at this point are saying "What's with this guy and his car?" Well, either you get it or you don't! This is a friend of mine with a similar obsession. Say hi to Paul - he lives in Allentown and likes to part out Capris for a hobby.
OK! It's on to the wedding in Madison!! Remember that??? The whole excuse for this wonderful adventure!

Some of you are probably saying - this guy is lousy on transitions! OK. I confess, I am. I forgot to take pictures of things like highway signs and "Welcome to New Jersey. Now go home."

Here are the bride and groom and bride's mother and a bunch of hanger's on trying to figure out who is going to walk where! They have a wonderful outdoor ceremony planned. Ever hear the expression of "too many cooks?"
They are still trying to figure out who is going to do what during this ceremony!
They are still trying to figure out who is going to do what during this ceremony!
   More rehearsal and discussion!
Here is my totally precious daughter, who, at least for me, will be the highlight of the ceremony!
This is her, the beautiful bride to be, showing her exuberance!
Here she is, practicing her walk with her dad. How precious!
Thought they had it figured out, didn't you!
Of course - it's the rehearsal dinner! This is where the guests get to have fun!
Did any of you recognize this couple? This is Jillian and Jeff, the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. They are clowning around like usual, and cutting up. We can hope for a little more decorum tomorrow!
   These are the proud Grandparents.
And what do you suppose the bride is saying to the minister? Not to ask the question about someone objecting now or forever holding his peace????
Did somebody say "Toast?" Of course, it's time to raise a glass to the special couple! We know they will be great together! Here's to a long and wonderful union! May it be as blessed and blissed as any we know!
Oh, this evening ended way too quickly. Of course, that might be because I got lost on the way there!
