SHORTBREAD CRUST
Ingredients
- 2 cups ground shortbread cookies
- 5 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° F
- Place ground cookies, butter and sugar in food processor; process until mixture clumps together
- Press onto bottom of ungreased 9- or 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom
- Bake for 8 minutes or until golden
- Cool in pan on wire rack
This is good under the chocolate tart or chocolate pecan pie
